"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever."

Another Week in Good ol' Greeley

Elders Guzman, Seamons, and Me holding up Elder Hernandez
in a Coat Closet!

Well my wonderful family, I am doing good this week.

The work in Greeley is awesome. We have been working with the same people and have found some more as well. I don't have a ton of time today, but I'll try and give you a good idea of what we've been up to this week.

The work this week went pretty well.  We met with Roy this week, and he is amazing and you can just feel pure love for the guy.  We had gone into the lesson having prayed about a date to set him with for baptism, and he talked about needing to wait for his family situation to work out before baptism, but we testified of putting forth our faith as action, and challenged him to prepare himself for baptism on the 29th of this month.  He accepted and we were so glad!  It was a spiritual lesson for sure.  He was worked upon by the Spirit as we read 2 Nephi 31 together and things went amazingly!  We also got a new investigator this week named Lolo.  She lives with a family that the Centennial elders are teaching, and we stopped by and talked with her and met with her later that day.  She is from Idaho and is far from home going to culinary school.  She is having a very hard time being away from home, so that is sad but can be helped through the gospel. She is rocky in her faith right now and wants to do all she can to make it better, so it's awesome to see a willing heart.  I think a lot will progress there.  Caroline is still doing well.  At FHE last week during the activity, somebody stepped on her foot and fractured it!  Her mom came into town because she had to go to a specialist, and we're meeting with her tonight to see how everything went, but we felt so badly when it happened!

I love being a missionary.  While at times it can be hard and feel lonely, there is no greater work and no greater honor.  We are real-life representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we bear his name every day as we go out and do his will. I love this honor, and am not willing to give it up for anything.  I am so grateful to all of you who pray for us and help and support us. I know the Lord blesses those who help his work progress.  There is no greater cause.  I love it.

Love,
